
Audience
This is a technical course, designed for System Administrators responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining the Communiqué environment. System Administrators must meet all the prerequisites in order to attend this course.
Description
Communiqué System Administrator Training focuses on how to install and configure Communiqué. Students learn basic philosophy and concepts behind Communiqué such as its Virtual Repository, the ContentBus, environments and instances, data flow between instances, and the Communiqué files and directory structure.
Students learn how to set up a Communiqué project including how to configure a Communiqué instance. Furthermore they will deal with the logging concept and how to integrate Communiqué into other Webapp Servers. It includes a combination of lecture presentations and hands-on exercises.
Duration: 3 days
Prerequisites:
- Have a minimum of 2 years of system administrator experience with the operating system or platform on which Communiqué will be installed
- Basic knowledge of XML structure, networking in general, network design and server-specific software
- Advanced knowledge of Java technology
- Advanced knowledge of Apache’s Log4J Framework is helpful, but not required
- Knowledge of Object Oriented principles is helpful, but not required
- Have network design experience and troubleshooting skills
