Performance Package consists of the following:
- Distribute load across multiple Communiqué Instances and /or backend applications
- Works as a plugin module to a standard web server (Apache, IIS, or iPlanet)
- Greatly improve response times for your web applications through load balancing
- Incrementally scale your infrastructure, don't redesign your applications
- Balance load among different Communiqué instances to get faster response times and greater reliability
- Cache the content of multiple Communiqué Instances
- Greatly improve response times for your web applications through caching
- Configure available renders, specific pages, enable deferred streaming, set up sticky connections, etc.
- Content Separation through virtual domain addressing
- Supports HTTP 1.1 protocol with "keepalive" improved performance features
- Set up intranet and extranet domains or host completely independent web sites (e.g. if you are an ISP)
- Security extension to syndication, both on the sender and receiver sides
- Allow content syndication over unsecured links (like the public internet). For instance when the publish site is at a hosting facility and the author environment is inhouse
- Protect privacy and confidentiality while still delivering value over the public internet
