Function and Responsibilities

• Working in a heterogeneous network across different countries within a WAN Network
• Basic system administration Linux/Unix and Windows
• Support internal and external web resources (high availability) based on both our own and 3rd party products
• Consulting and support for internal quality assurance and development environments
• Administration of a MS-Windows domain
• First and second level support for our employees
• Flexible, prepared to provide on-call coverage when necessary
• Maintaining of network services like DNS, DHCP and Webserver
  

Reporting Lines

• The System Administrator reports to Head of Global IT

Requirements

• Basic knowledge in networking, routing and switching (we are using Cisco products)
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux
• Basic experience in scripting (Perl/Shell)
• Enthusiastic about new technologies

Personal profile

• A good understanding of information security principles 
• Being able to communicate in English
• Strong team player
