CRX 2.1: Hotfix pack 2.1.0.3 released

CRX Hotfix pack 2.1.0.3 has been released which addresses a performance issue related to ACL evaluation. It also provides an improved and more efficient cache for principal lookups, further improving overall performance and responsiveness of the system.

CQ 5.3: Hotfix #30233 available, fixing a memory leak in Sling

To enable this browser version for CQ 5.3, please download and install the Feature-Pack 28358 from the public CQ 5.3 section on Day‘s PackageShare.

CQ/CRX Known Issue with maximum file size settings

The following known issue might affect customers using the TAR persistence manager: The CRX repository is constantly growing during content production. To prevent upcoming issues with a growing repository we recommend to adjust the maximum file size of the TAR PM as described in our knowledge base.

CRX 2.1 Release Now Available

CRX 2.1.0 is an upgrade release to CRX 2.0.0, the JCR-2 compliant Content Repository that comes with CQ 5.3. It contains more than 120 fixes compared to the CRX 2.0.0 code base. It provides major add-ons, key customer fixes, high priority customer enhancements and general bug fixes.

CQ 5.3 Major Release Now Available

CQ 5.3.0 is now available, an upgrade release to the CQ 5.2 and CQ 5.2.1 versions with 645 fixes compared to the CQ 5.2.0 code base. It provides major add-ons, key customer fixes, high priority customer enhancements and general bug fixes oriented toward product stabilization and an highly improved upgrade process.

CQ5 / CRX: Log rotation

In CQ5, both the access.log and request.log are not rotated per default which potentially leads to excessive disk usage. To enable log-rotation for these log-files, see the knowledgebase article to enable log rotation on CQ5.

In CRX, the error.log is not rotated per default as well. This can also lead to increased and unnecessary disk usage. To enable log-rotation for the error.log, please refer to the knowledgebase article to enable log rotation on CRX.
