The JCR Concepts course will enable students to understand the basic concepts and benefits of a JCR-based repository and to gain practical experience using a JCR-enabled product out-of-box.
Using CRX ('Content Repository Extreme', Day Software's implementation of the JCR specification) as an example, the course covers the basics of the repository model, shows how to install the software and how to manage content using the CRX interface through a series of case studies and exercises.
Advanced topics such as integration and migration scenarios are also covered at a high conceptual level.

- Standardization of Content Repositories
- Introduction to JCR Concepts
- Architecture Overview
