Barry Bycoff is Executive Chairman at Progress Software (NASDAQ:PRGS), a leading supplier of application infrastructure software with revenue of $516M in FY2008 where he has served on the Board of Directors since March 2007.  In his role as Executive Chairman, Bycoff is responsible for directing Progress Software’s corporate strategy and growth initiatives.  Prior to his role as Executive Chairman, Bycoff was Venture Partner at Pequot Ventures, where he worked with portfolio companies on their operations and investment decisions and drove the $310M acquisition in 2007 by eBay of StubHub, a leading online marketplace for the resale of event tickets.

Erik Hansen

Erik Hansen is Chief Executive Officer for Day, responsible for overall company strategy. He is a recognized industry veteran with over 30 years of experience as a senior executive at leading companies, including Interwoven, Tibco, Siemens and Apple, both in Europe and in the United States.

Before joining Day, Mr. Hansen was leading the European operations of Interwoven as SVP and General Manager EMEA. Prior to Interwoven, Mr, Hansen was heading the European operations of Netegrity, a leading provider of identity and access management solutions. His other prior engagements include serving as the President of EMEA at Tibco, where he successfully built the European operations and as Executive VP and General Manager, Operations of Siemens Pyramid Inc, a 100% owned subsidiary of Siemens, during which time he was based in San Jose, California.

Michael MoppertMichael Moppert

Michael Moppert co-founded the company in 1993 and headed Day for over 15 years as CEO and Chairman. In June 2008 Moppert handed over his operational responsibilities to Erik Hansen.
 
As CEO Moppert was driving the successful growth  of the company, converting it from a local swiss consulting agency into a global software vendor. In 1998 Moppert opened the U.S. subsidiary of Day in Los Angeles. In 1999 subsidiaries in Germany, the UK and Asia/Pacific followed. In 2000 Moppert led the company to a successful IPO on the Swiss Stock Exchange. Prior to Day Software, Mr. Moppert worked as a journalist and as an independent corporate communications consultant. Moppert holds a Masters degree in History and Economics from the University of Basel, Switzerland.

David Nüscheler

David Nüscheler is Chief Technology Officer for Day. He is responsible for the technology strategy of the company and ongoing product development.

Mr. Nüscheler joined Day in 1994 and has been instrumental in growing the company from a small multimedia agency to today’s leading enterprise content management software company. He created the basic concept for the original Communiqué, now CQ5, and has guided product development to create a truly advanced content management and infrastructure platform. Mr. Nüscheler has lead various international technical standardization initiatives and is a member of the Apache Software Foundation.

David Arnott is Member of the Executive Committee and Chief Financial Officer of TEMENOS Group AG (SIX:TEMN), a leading provider of integrated modular core banking systems to over 600 customers in over 120 countries.  Since joining Temenos in 2001, David has guided Temenos’ rapid growth to become a global enterprise software leader in the Finance vertical with over $400M in revenue in 2008.  Prior to joining the Group, Arnott worked as Chief Financial Officer of Société Européenne de Communication in Luxembourg and from 1996 to 1999 held a number of senior finance positions at Anglo-American plc, a mining and precious metals trading company.

 

Mark L. WalshMark L. Walsh

Mark L. Walsh has been in the internet industry for over twenty years, heading up consumer internet efforts for GE, running AOL's Internet and B2B efforts, and as CEO of VerticalNet, a B2B Internet company which he took public in early 1999.  At its peak, and under his leadership, VerticalNet's market value exceeded US$12 billion.  Since 2001 he has been active in politics, serving as the first Chief Technology Advisor for the Democratic National Committee, Internet head for the John Kerry for President Campaign, and then as founding CEO of Air America Radio. He recently re-joined Air America as an investor, and Member of its Board. For the last three years he has also co-hosted a weekly talk show called "Left Jab" on XM Satellite Radio.

He started his business career in television, as anchorman and News Director of a CBS-TV affiliate, and as New Business Development Director for HBO in New York.  He is a graduate of Union College (where he serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees) and Harvard Business School, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the student newspaper.
