Erik Hansen is Chief Executive Officer for Day, responsible for overall company strategy. He is a recognized industry veteran with over 30 years of experience as a senior executive at leading software companies, including Interwoven, Tibco, Siemens and Apple, both in Europe and in the United States.

Before joining Day, Mr. Hansen was leading the European operations of Interwoven as Senior Vice President and General Manager EMEA. Prior to Interwoven, he was heading the European operations of Netegrity, a leading provider of identity and access management solutions. Before his engagement at Netegrity, Mr. Hansen served as President EMEA at Tibco, where he very successfully built the European operations of this global infrastructure software vendor. Before Tibco Mr. Hansen was Executive Vice President and General Manager Operations of Siemens Pyramid Inc , a 100% owned subsidiary of Siemens, during which time he was based in San Jose, California.

David Nüscheler is Chief Technology Officer for Day. He is responsible for technology strategy for the company and ongoing product development.

Mr. Nüscheler joined Day in 1994 and is key to the growth of the company from a small multimedia agency to a leading enterprise content management software company. He created the basic concept for the original Communiqué and has guided product development to create a truly advanced content management and infrastructure platform. He specializes in application and systems programming. Mr. Nüscheler studied Computer Science at the Swiss Federal Institute Technology in Zürich, Switzerland.

Kevin Cochrane is Chief Marketing Officer for Day. He is responsible for worldwide corporate and product marketing, along with global customer, partner and OEM programs.

A 12-year veteran in the content management space, Cochrane was the fourth employee at Interwoven, responsible for Interwoven TeamSite product line and suite of web content management offerings. Most recently, Kevin was the twelfth hire at commercial open source pioneer at Alfresco, as vice president of product management. Mr. Cochrane holds a degree in International Relations from Stanford University.

Richard Francis is Chief Financial Officer for Day. He has experience managing finance, operations, and development, for both public and privately-held technology companies.

Previously, Mr. Francis served as Chief Financial Officer of Celona Technologies, provider of application data migration platforms. Prior to joining Celona, Francis was Senior Director of Finance, EMEA for Interwoven. He has also held senior finance positions with Novell, Gillette and Duracell, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte and Touche.

Roy T. Fielding is Day's Chief Scientist, responsible for guiding Day's research efforts to update the infrastructure upon which the Web is based, thereby improving the reliability and robust behavior of applications built upon that infrastructure, including Day's products and the applications built by customers using Day's software technology.

Dr. Fielding is best known for his work in developing and defining the modern World Wide Web infrastructure. He is the primary architect of the current Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP/1.1), co-author of the Internet standards for HTTP and Uniform Resource Identifiers (URI), and a founder of several open-source software projects, including the Apache HTTP Server Project that produces the software for over 60% of public Internet web sites. Dr. Fielding received his Ph.D. degree in Information and Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine.

Chris Stark is Senior Vice President Americas and Asia/Pacific for Day. Mr. Stark directs sales, operations, and marketing for those regions.

Previously, he held the positions of Vice President of Western Sales and Vice President of Channels at Vignette Corporation. Stark went to Vignette with the company's $1.7B acquisition of OnDisplay in May 2000. During his tenure at OnDisplay, he served as Vice President of Channels and Corporate Development. Prior to this, he spent 5 years with I2 as Vice President of Western Sales, and 10 years with Dun & Bradstreet Software working in sales management. Mr. Stark holds a degree in Business Administration from University of California, Santa Barbara.

Angelo Buscemi is Senior Vice President Europe for Day. Mr. Buscemi directs European sales, operations, and marketing.

Mr. Buscemi joined Day in January 2001. Prior to Day he spent two years (1999 - 2000) at Oracle Software GmbH in Switzerland and ten years (1989 - 1999) at Computer Associates AG in Switzerland working in various sales management positions. Prior to Day, Mr. Salmon served as VP NEMEA for BEA Systems, primarily responsible for Portal, Web 2.0 products and BPM. Prior to BEA, Mr. Salmon ran NEMEA with Interwoven, a provider of Enterprise Content Management solutions. He has also held senior sales and management positions with TIBCO, Staffware and OKI Systems.

Jean-Michel Pittet is Senior Vice President of Engineering for Day. He is responsible for Product Strategy and the day-to-day operations of Day's worldwide engineering and product management teams.

Mr. Pittet joined Day in 2001 from Silicon Valley startup Embrace Networks, where he was responsible for leading the software engineering team as Director of Engineering. Prior to that Mr. Pittet was an Engineering Manager at Silicon Graphics in the US. He was responsible for Gigabit Ethernet and other Networking groups, releasing the IRIX Operating System. Mr. Pittet received a MBA from the University of California Berkeley, Haas School of Business and an MSc in Computer Science Engineering from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne.
